Number Plates History

I remember when we had number plates on the front and back of our cars.  I don’t understand why that feature was eliminated.  My new car has the place in the back to place it, but the front nothing.  I hate that.  I want to have options.  My mom said they discontinue this feature because it was too expensive.  She feels it was an unnecessary item.  She thinks one in the back is more visible.  I don’t understand her logic, but who knows.  I feel having two is better than one. It makes the car looks cool, and I want a cool car.
