Buying A Used Fireplace

Today’s fireplaces are not always the classic model with the brick and chimney. The modern Fireplace can be a stand alone unit you place in the middle of the room or anywhere in the home you want. Some are even portable. You will have to install a vent for letting out the smoke or you could get a model that you put in the wall and that has a vent right behind it (part of the unit is inside the other side is outside). Some units have a front side fire viewing area while others are 360 degrees of window to see the fire (like an indoor fire-pit).
