It has been said that the time of a funeral is a time where we all reflect on the goodness of our lives. I would also say that we evaluate the lack of goodness and plan ways to turn that into goodness. If we want physical proof of that brief period of self evaluation, we need look no further than the funeral program.
When you remember past resolutions from funeral programs, you also remember the person who passed away. So it’s like a double whammy, in a way. Any occasion we can find to remember something positive about our past is only a good thing, in my book.
