Making the Decision to Consolidate my Debt Was a Smart Move

Deciding to consolidate my debt was the best thing that I could have done to help get myself out of the financial mess that I ended up in after losing my job.  Doing this allowed me to combine all of my monthly payments into one so it is easier and more convenient for me to pay down the debt that I accumulated.  It also gave me a lower monthly payment which is nice because even though I am now employed, I am not making as much money as I was previously and with the new budget that I have had to come up with every little bit of money that I can save helps.
