My wife and I have been very busy lately. I have a very demanding job and she is busy with a part time home business and taking care of our 2 year old twin daughters. I made plans to make an escape, just the two of us.
My first plan of an attack was to book a hotel room. Once that was done, I wanted to make the experience even more romantic. I bought flowers and scattered the petals across the bed. And then I bought a hundred votive candles and lit every one of them. I ordered dinner in and then left her a note informing her where to meet me. She was pretty surprised and it was exactly what we needed.
