Daughter Thinks Mom is Blind

I can’t get it out of my 10 year-old’s head that she’s not old enough to wear makeup yet. She comes down for breakfast all decked out in everything imaginable. Then, she acts surprised that I noticed it and lies that she’s not wearing any. I tell her that it’ll take more makeup than that to paint a look of innocence on her face. I don’t want her wearing makeup until she’s at least 13 years old. She’s just in too big of a hurry to grow up and I want to keep her at least age appropriate until then.
